Meet the Founder
Hi I’m Jess, a 22 year old actor and artist from West Sussex. I started Stripey Pig in October 2025, which was always a huge dream of mine but not necessarily planned to say the least. I graduated drama school earlier that year, and despite 3 years of training, it was still a slow start as I’m sure may creatives can relate to. That’s when I decided to move from London back home to the countryside for a bit to live with my parents, and find my feet again. I got a job at a beautiful gift shop nearby and worked with some wonderful ladies (in fact still do!) which is where I started thinking about starting Stripey Pig. Seeing all the wonderful products we stock from local artists and makers inspired me to start the business and share my work with others. Creating art has always been my biggest passion, whichever form it comes in, and if I can make it my job, what more could I ask for.

Currently, the business operates from the attic of my parents' house in West Sussex, where every order is lovingly packed by hand and sent out myself. Please bear with me whilst I find my feet, as all of this is very new to me. Thank you so much for all your support and I really hope you enjoy your prints! X
